This house was once part of a small island in Chesapeake Bay, USA. However, frequent erosion on the island caused it to shrink rapidly. Over time, the land disappeared entirely, leaving this house as the last standing structure before the island vanished in 2010.

Located in the mountainous region of Sorrento, Italy, this building has been abandoned since 1866. The remote location, far from water sources, resulted in high humidity levels in the valley, rendering the building unsuitable for use. Hashima Island, or Gunkanjima, meaning "Battleship Island," is known as one of Japan's uninhabited islands. Originally a coal mining site with adequate living facilities, the population on the island swelled. When oil began replacing coal, the mines, including the island, were closed. Now, it is rumored to be a haunted island due to its mysterious and eerie ambiance, making it a filming location for movies like Battle Royale II and the video game Forbidden Siren 2.

These futuristic housing structures were intended as vacation homes for US military personnel returning from Asia. Construction began in 1978 but abruptly halted in 1980 before completion. Fatal accidents during construction contributed to its repeated halts.

Pripyat began to take shape on February 4, 1970, near the Belarusian border. It housed workers from the surrounding nuclear area, which was later devastated by the nuclear accident in 1986.
