Indeed, This Hotel Has an Interior Inspired by Spongebob Squarepants! Spongebob Lovers Must Try Staying Here!
Who doesn't know the Spongebob Squarepants cartoon character? The adorable yellow square that appears almost every day on television and entertains viewers. If you're a Spongebob lover, you've probably dreamed of experiencing what it's like to live in Bikini Bottom, his hometown. Well, your dream as a Spongebob lover can come true! There's now a building that closely resembles Spongebob Squarepants' house. This building is part of the Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Everything is designed to resemble Spongebob's real house, from the exterior to the interior.
The Pineapple, as this building is named, has an area of approximately 213 square meters and is surrounded by a lush garden. True to its name, you'll be greeted with a giant pineapple at the entrance. With its soft yellow color and geometric pattern, this 'pineapple' succeeds in amazing visitors who enter the building.
The interior of the living room has a sea-like atmosphere with wooden stairs leading to the floor above. This room is filled with unique furniture such as transparent hanging and legged chairs, brightly colored carved tables, plankton-patterned cushions, and wall decorations resembling submarine windows. The room's lighting is also unique, in the shape of seashells. It already feels like you're under the sea, doesn't it?
Entering the private room, visitors will find a unique room that closely resembles the one Spongebob often uses to watch TV with his beloved pet snail, Gary. The blue-walled room is furnished with Spongebob's favorite sofa arrangement, which at first glance looks like a 3D decoration, but it's actually a functional sofa. And the television is uniquely shaped, beyond words: Amazing!
The bedroom also doesn't escape the Spongebob theme. The underwater design is still present with rubber tire-shaped decorations at the end of the bed. The color coordination of the bedspread, blanket, and pillowcases matches the colors used in Spongebob Squarepants' house.
In this hotel, there's also a swimming pool. It might not be too large, but it's cozy enough for a relaxing break. The blue water matches the color of the cushions and blankets on the poolside chairs.
So, are you interested in staying "under the sea"? If yes, add this destination to your vacation list!
