Creating a cozy natural atmosphere in a room is surprisingly simple. You can start by keeping a plant in the corner of the room directly to make a difference. Alternatively, place a rug of natural fibers such as seaweed or jute, or textured linen pillows, and other organic elements to make a significant change to the decor in a minimalist home design.

Gold and Metallic Colors

Placing gold and brass colored accessories gives a warm atmosphere in the house. It's best to choose ones that don't use chrome or lacquer. Add a base lamp, a candle holder, a group of metallic vases or bowls to make the room warmer yet elegant. These types of items are usually easy to find in antique stores.

You can redesign your home without having to buy anything. According to Berkus, items around the house can add beauty to your home's interior design. Check out that unique table you've forgotten in storage. By polishing it with a fresh gray color, your old table will look modern. You can also swap your items with neighbors or friends. It could be that your old cabinet can be exchanged for a friend's desk.
