Brooklyn-based architecture studio Studio Tack transformed a motel in Northern California into a cozy and serene space. This is shown through the use of vintage furniture and pastel colors as well as palm tree motifs in the fabrics. The calm look makes this inn a great place for a vacation.

From the outside, this inn looks like an ordinary building in general. But the interesting thing is the random pattern on the wall with various unique pastel colors. The name of the inn, the sandman hotel, with its pleasant appearance certainly welcomes guests warmly enough. The large entrance gate also allows cars to enter and exit the inn. Even vehicles can park up to the front of the bedroom area.

In the lobby area or waiting room, the colors are quite soft as seen from the selection of white and soft wood brown colors. The warmth of the room is enhanced by the wicker chairs and soft, clean sofa cushions. The curtain fabric covering the window was also chosen in a similar color so that it fits perfectly in it. Of course, the look that results from this arrangement is very clean and gives a good first impression to visitors.
