The Modern Interior Design in BG Apartment that Looks Simple and Comfortable

This apartment is located in Seville, Spain and was designed by Francesc Rife. Being situated on the top floor of a building, this residence certainly receives abundant natural light due to the ample openings. This 2015 project undoubtedly has an interesting design worth discussing.

The apartment features a unique room layout. Each of its four sides has different dimensions. Only two sides of this residence are designed with window openings, allowing easy airflow and light circulation into the building. The apartment is divided into two areas: one for morning activities and the other for evening activities.

Morning and daytime activities take place in the living area and its surroundings. This public area comprises a living room, a lounge, a dining area, a kitchen, and a workspace. Wood flooring and modern-style furniture adorn this area.

Upon entering the residence, visitors are greeted with the grand view of the apartment, evident from the glass partitions and marble floors. From this entrance area, an open kitchen with a breakfast bar is visible. Just across from the kitchen is the living room, which also serves as a family room.

The central space designated for daytime activities indeed does not use any partitions to delineate the space. The division of this area is apparent through the furniture and flooring material differences. The family room itself is equipped with a television and a fireplace. Not to forget, there are windows to view the outside area where a river provides a scenic view.

In one corner of the room, there's a workspace furnished with bookshelves and a comfortable chair where the homeowner can read and relax. The residence also features a balcony with railings for safety. Large windows serve as the entry and exit points to the balcony and the residence.

For nighttime activities, a specific area is dedicated to the homeowner family's resting space. There are two bedrooms with single beds and a shared bathroom, along with the main bedroom equipped with a walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom. The three bedroom spaces are connected by a corridor and are separated from other areas by corridor doors.

The dominant materials in this residence are finished pine wood and white wall colors. The white color provides a spacious and bright feel to the house, while the wood color offers a natural and warm ambiance. Marble flooring is visible in several parts of the residence, adding a luxurious touch.

The view from the balcony of this residence is quite beautiful as it overlooks the street and the river on the other side.
