Located in The Green Precinct, Bumi Serpong Damai, Tangerang, Kampono house is in the corner of the land with two main facades facing west and south. The total building area of this house is about 319 square meters with a round land formation of 500 square meters. This 2017 project is very well designed and also interesting by one of the leading architectural studios, RAW Architecture with its architect Realrich Sjarief.

The design of the building on this land takes advantage of the land situation and maximizes its potential located on the corner of the road. By developing axial lines and curves on the exterior and interior, the scenery of the surrounding environment becomes more exposed. When viewed from the outside, this house shows an extroverted expression while the interior shows a more closed spatial arrangement so that family members can move freely but remain private.

Land orientation is an influential thing in home design as an opportunity to maximize the entry of light and outside scenery into the house. The wall-high window becomes the façade of the house facing Southwest, which is also shaded by 2 existing trees Albizia Chinensis. The design process continues to change as it evolves until it becomes a final form that follows the base land as well as the scenery. Inspired by the profession of Mrs. Adhisty, the client's wife who is a ballerina so that the house has a unique shape that looks like a dancing house.

When entering the house, visitors will immediately be presented with a large open living room. The room feels very spacious because the height of the room reaches a height of 4 meters. Become a void part on the top floor. On the ceiling there is a glass window which is also equipped with an air circulation system. The window measures 180x180 cm with openings on the side of the window and is used for air cross-exchange.

On this ground floor in addition to the living room, there is a dining room, guest room and also a swimming pool. The swimming pool is on this floor to keep providing privacy space to homeowners by raising the position of the pool about 2 meters above ground level using the cut-and-fill method. This pool is next to the arch roof and has views throughout the neighborhood.

Not only the pool on the ground floor, this house also has a garden area located on the roof. The use of the garden on the roof is certainly used to insulate the building from heat. This area is also used as a place to relax and also to hold garden parties.

On the first floor there are three bedrooms next to the main staircase. Two bedrooms with a size of 18 square meters for children and connected to the terrace of his house with curved components. While the master bedroom has an area of 30 square meters equipped with a walk-in closet for clothes and dressing up area. On this floor there is also a study room facing directly towards the swimming pool.

The ballet floor is placed on the same floor as the bedroom. This room serves as a family room. As for the service area and wet kitchen, it is on the semi-basement floor complete with a generator and water pump utility system. This area is also used as a parking area for homeowners' vehicles.

The materials used in the design of this house are local materials such as Tulungagung marble, merbau solid wood, and steel pipes for the handrail. Handrail is designed of course to keep children safe in the house. In the semi-basement area, local ceramics are the floor covering.  Then the outdoor part of the house is covered with exposed concrete material.

This kampono house has an exterior design that looks unique because of its curved walls and exposed materials. But not only aesthetics are considered, RAW architecture also considers circulation in the house so that the circulation system is well designed to face the tropical climate in the Bumi Serpong Damain Tangerang area.
