An apartment unit located on the 26th floor with an area of 155 square meters was renovated by the interior designer atelier twelve. This apartment is situated in Hanoi, Vietnam, and is occupied by a business couple who desired to have natural light penetrate the living space and fill the entire residence. The challenge in achieving natural lighting in this apartment was due to the fact that there was only one open side to the unit, prompting the designer to carry out renovations.

Music is one of the husband's passions, and they also wanted to incorporate this element into the apartment's concept. Lighting and music became the primary concepts for harmony in the renovation of this apartment.

Initially, the apartment had three bedrooms with large windows. However, the designer made changes to the layout. There are now only two bedrooms in the unit. The bedroom located near the window was transformed into a balcony area with plants surrounding it. The adjacent room was turned into a relaxation area that provides both light and tranquility.

Upon entering the apartment, visitors are greeted by a combined living room and family room. This space also features a piano for the husband to play music. The family room exudes elegance through its choice of furniture and wall coverings. The dark wood flooring and sofa complement each other, providing a sense of grandeur in a limited space. The wall behind the TV, made of neatly arranged wooden logs, adds a unique texture. The combination of dark and light brown colors adds luxury to the room.

The family room is connected to the balcony area, the garden, the kitchen, and the relaxation area. The balcony and the family room are separated by wide folding doors, allowing plenty of light to enter the apartment. Not only the family room but also the relaxation area has openings to the balcony, providing freshness and a calming atmosphere when relaxing.

The dining area is located in the kitchen space, with a bar table in front of it. The kitchen is designed in a U-shape with wooden materials and a soothing turquoise color that adorns the walls. The turquoise color adds a fresh ambiance to the apartment.

On the balcony, various plants are neatly arranged in pots, creating a harmonious and visually pleasing outdoor space. The balcony floor is designed with stone tiles, showcasing a connection to nature through the plants. Floor seating is also available, allowing the homeowners to practice yoga and unwind on the balcony.

Both bedrooms have windows with views outside, providing good natural lighting to these well-arranged spaces. Wooden furniture flows harmoniously from outside the bedrooms into the interiors, adding comfort and a natural touch to the rooms.

Throughout the apartment, seating is arranged in various areas with openings to the balcony, allowing natural light and fresh air to flow in. This creates a comfortable and serene living environment where the homeowners can enjoy music and take in the city's beauty, especially at night.
