If you want to feel the atmosphere of Japan, now you don't have to go all the way to the land of sakura. In Malang, precisely in Songgoriti, Batu, there is a hot spring resort that has a Japanese Onsen (hot spring) style design. The resort area is also surrounded by mountain pine trees, making the area feel cool.

The Onsen Hot Spring Resort is not the only hot spring in the Batu area. Songgoriti itself is famous for its tourist attractions and shopping centers, but the baths are not well known. Because of this, a unique concept with a Japanese panorama came out. Of course, this adds to the interest of visitors to come to this place.

Starting from the exterior of the stage building, the interior, the garden are all displayed with Japanese uniqueness. Visitors can also dress up in Japanese style with kimono. The resort consists of various facilities that make visitors more comfortable and feel the atmosphere of Japan.

The Onsen has 25 villas that provide beautiful views of the outdoors. One villa will consist of 2 to 3 bedrooms. When entering the villa, visitors are shown a room designed with a Japanese atmosphere. This is reflected in the wood material and also the tatami floor which gives a warm impression. Not only that, the sliding door also adds to the oriental impression of the cherry blossom country.

The bedrooms vary in design. From Japanese-style mattresses that fold thinly on the floor to beds like those generally available at The Onsen. In the living room, there is also a dining and drinking table equipped with a cushion seat. It truly reflects a unique traditional Japanese-style residence. Each room also has a private onsen so it will be more comfortable to soak in their own room area.

The restaurant in this resort is called Fushimi. It is designed in a semi-open building that serves Japanese specialties as the main course and Indonesian and Western food for the second option. The restaurant can accommodate up to 170 seats including two private rooms and 4 semi-private rooms.

The interior of this Fushimi restaurant looks very classy. The wooden materials with elegant finishing make eating at this place more enjoyable. The characteristic Japanese look is felt whether from the decoration of the lights, the wallpaper, or the details of the wooden partitions. The overall design of the restaurant really feels unique and amazing.

The restaurant building with a veranda area overlooking the resort's view will add to the enjoyment of the meal. The chairs are made of wicker and have a color and appearance that matches the color of the wood in the building. Not only that, but the food is also served on a typical bamboo mat.

For the private area, it has a design that can be considered very authentic. The colors in the room feel very light and soft but also provide warmth. The seat cushions are also available with a backrest so as to provide comfort to the person inside.

This resort is not only for staying and eating, but also for relaxation. As the name The Onsen suggests, the resort provides two hot spring baths where the public baths are separated for male and female visitors. Each bathing pool can accommodate 20 people. While soaking, visitors will also enjoy the beautiful scenery so as to experience Japanese culture in this place.

The Onsen also has a function hall space for rent. This hall can be used for wedding receptions, birthday parties, seminars, or business meetings. The hall itself can accommodate 150 people inside. The design feels modern with a different ceiling shape from the rooms in this resort area. The hall can also be divided into two rooms separated by a wooden partition.

For visitors on vacation staying at this place, of course, don't just stay in the room. Walking around the resort area is also an exciting experience. Each villa lodge is named after a city in Japan such as Tokyo, Osaka, and so on. This will certainly be a fun photo spot to capture this experience.
