The Real Flintstone House! This is a Home Inspired by Fred

A famous TV host, Dirk Clark, has a unique house in Malibu that is listed for $3.5 million. It's not just an ordinary house; this single-story home features a stone-age cartoon-inspired interior, reminiscent of the classic 1960s show, The Flintstones.

This one-bedroom, two-bathroom house is unique not only on the outside but also on the inside. The house, situated on approximately 89,000 square feet of land, is located in Malibu. Architect Philip Jon Brown designed this house in 2012. Initially, it faced challenges in gaining building approval because conservation authorities believed the mountainous area was not suitable for constructing a house. However, due to the architect's concept of a stone-shaped house, they were eventually allowed to build it in that area.

The house is accessible via a long winding path and is surrounded by various plants in its yard, chosen to complement the house's appearance. The exterior of the house features heavy stucco material mixed with stones, and they rubbed the material when applied to the building to create a granite-like appearance.

Inside the house, you'll find various rooms such as a living room, dining area, bedroom, kitchen, and bathrooms, all with an unusual and captivating appearance.

The living room, also serving as a family room, is equipped with a television and a space heater. The walls are sculpted to resemble stone formations, and large glass windows are uniquely placed between these stone walls, offering beautiful views of nature. The furniture, including the table and sofa, is carefully selected to match the Flintstones theme, with creamy colors and curved shapes reminiscent of stones. It's unique and inspiring.

Moving on to the dining area, this room with four chairs is designed to be open with windows facing outside. The table's stone-like surface exudes luxury, and the chairs have a vintage look, complete with fabric reminiscent of the prehistoric era.

The kitchen area is beautifully designed with a white and cream color scheme. High-quality appliances and a smooth, glossy kitchen table enhance the room's aesthetics. Oval-shaped windows with irregular sides reinforce the house's concept. The cabinet doors are also irregularly shaped, adding to the kitchen's charm.

The bedroom, featuring a king-sized bed, feels very comfortable. The soft color palette throughout the room and the placement of lights within the walls create a tranquil and cozy atmosphere, perfect for sleep. The room's floor resembles sandy ground, complementing the stone-inspired house.

Since there are no doors separating the different areas inside the house, the layout requires careful consideration. Some spaces still require privacy, such as the bedroom and the bathroom.

The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, sink, and vanity table. The bathtub area exudes elegance with its all-white design and a view of the outdoors. The toilet is hidden behind the wall near the sink.
