Tresarca House: A Unique Luxury Home in the Mountain Area of Las Vegas
When we talk about Las Vegas, what usually comes to mind is a city in the United States known as the gambling capital, filled with glamour and entertainment. However, this time, we won't discuss Las Vegas in general but rather focus on one house that reflects the Las Vegas atmosphere within it. It's classy and luxurious.
Designed by assemblage Studio, the house named Tresarca House looks beautiful with all its elements, including the swimming pool, surrounding walls, lighting, and related elements. The house consists of three levels: the ground floor, upper floor, and basement.
Each level of the house has different dimensions, materials, and orientations, ranging from the basement to the top floor. It's like layers of rocks in the earth. This is what inspired the architect to design this unique house.
On the ground floor, which is quite spacious, there are various functional spaces. When entering the house, visitors are greeted with a kitchen followed by a living room. This floor is more of an entertainment area for the homeowners and guests.
There is even a pool house, which is a separate building connected to the main mass through the swimming pool. This area is used for relaxation and play.
The swimming pool in this area is unique and attractive because of its design without boundaries, creating an infinity effect. With a black base color, the pool also looks elegant and appealing.
Moving to the upper floor, the second floor is dedicated to the homeowners' privacy, including two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a family room, and an open deck.
The bedrooms are designed with unique shapes and furniture. With wooden floors and stone walls, they give a natural and harmonious feel. The bedcovers provide comfort for a good night's sleep. The rooms are well-organized with a balanced combination of colors that enhance each other.
In the bathroom design, you can see the reflection of nature. Stone floors, stone pathway, and a unique bathtub design. The shower area is surrounded by glass walls.
As for the basement floor, it also features a family room, two bedrooms, and a courtyard. You can access the basement via a spiral staircase or from the outdoor area connected to the swimming pool.
Inside the house, materials like wood, glass, marble, granite, and black steel are prominently used. These materials create a modern and clean impression while simultaneously showcasing a rustic and natural style. The colors inside are contrasted with various textures.
Another unique feature of the house is the chandelier made up of a collection of random light bulbs. This chandelier adds a luxurious touch to the house with its striking golden yellow color. Its location in the staircase void is perfect within the house.
It's not just about luxury; the architect also considered the lighting and air circulation systems. The exterior cladding of the building, composed of 3D triangular panels, acts as sun-shading to control the amount of light entering the house. The ventilation system is well thought out, utilizing spacious openings to create cross-ventilation within the building.
This house's design truly blurs the boundaries between the indoors and outdoors through its outdoor spaces. Rooms are not defined by walls but by the activities carried out within them. With an intriguing concept and exterior development, the house becomes comfortable and attractive. Just like this house inspired by layers of rocks.
Unlike typical house designs in Las Vegas that leave outdoor areas empty to keep the interior cool, Tresarca makes use of the spacious outdoor area for outdoor activities, including a shaded courtyard and its infinity swimming pool. As dusk falls and the air starts to chill, visitors can enjoy swinging on the sofa or other unique furniture near the fire pit in the courtyard.
