Completed in 2009, Bakrie Tower stands at a height of 217 meters, earning it the title of a skyscraper. What's fascinating about this building isn't just its height, but also its unique and intricate architectural aesthetics. The Bakrie business group entrusted Urbane Indonesia, led by architect Ridwan Kamil, a young architect who also teaches at the Bandung Institute of Technology, to design Bakrie Tower. Ridwan utilized his connections and experiences gained abroad to create a twisting architectural design, with the building's floors shifting about 0.47° or approximately 15 cm. This structural shift occurs in three parts: from the ground floor to the 17th floor, it rotates to the right, from the 17th floor to the 33rd floor, it rotates to the left, and from the 33rd floor to the 48th floor, it rotates to the right again. With such a design, Bakrie Tower resembles a ballet dancer in the distance, gracefully twisting and turning.

It is surrounded by a series of 10 apartment towers with the same design, symbolizing tall ships sailing around the 'lighthouse' represented by the hotel, which gave the complex its name 'Regatta.' This development won the Prix d'Excellence FIABCI (International Real Estate Federation) Award in 2010. Designed by WS Atkins, UK, developed by the Mutiara Buana Cooperation Body, and the main contractor is PT. Total Bangun Persada Tbk.

Located at Jl. MH Thamrin No. 1, Jakarta, this building has a floor area of 82,000 square meters and has 56 floors plus 2 basements. It was built with a green building concept. According to the book "Green Design for Sustainable Future" by Brenda and Robert Vale in 1996, six aspects of green buildings were revealed:

1. Energy Efficiency, adapting to the environment instead of altering it, particularly by utilizing solar potential as an energy source.

2. Utilizing natural conditions and energy sources by incorporating the natural environment, climate, and surroundings into the building's operation.

3. Responding to site conditions by constructing buildings that don't harm the surrounding environment in terms of construction, shape, and operation.

4. Paying attention to building users by considering the user's condition in the design and operation.

5. Minimizing new resources by reducing the use of new materials, enabling the building to be repurposed at the end of its lifespan.

6. Holistic, designing the building by applying all the previous points into the design process, incorporating as much green architecture as possible according to the existing potential.
