Located in a residential area of Jakarta, Indonesia, this house has an area of 337.5 square meters. This Mediterranean-style residence has a unique and beautiful look that is very suitable for today's young generation. The architects, Don Pieto & Henry Suwardi of DP+HS Architects, present a natural and tropical look in the dense urban setting of Jakarta.

This three-storey house consists of three functions as well. On the lowest floor, it functions as a garage and service area. The second floor functions as a public living area with various natural exposures so that visitors feel welcomed. Then on the third floor functioned as a private space for the owner of the residence. There is a master bedroom and also a nicely designed children's bedroom. While the roof is used for various utility equipment.

From the outside, you can see a minimalist residence with a beige color on the walls and stunning black accents. Not to forget the trees and shady plants decorating the front of the residence. Comfortable and cool is the initial impression obtained when looking at this residential house. Not to mention the material that looks like wood adds to the impression.

Upon entering the house through the fence, visitors are immediately shown the wooden door to the garage which is the entrance to the house from the back lane, or service lane. As for entering through the main door, visitors need to climb stairs decorated with stone walls and plants around them.  Not to forget, the mini garden is unique because it is located quite above the ground level.

When entering the residential house on the second floor, visitors will be presented with a wide view of the residence that feels airy and cool. On the right side of the entrance, there is a lobby or foyer area where visitors can sit and wait for the owner to come down. While on the left side of the door there is a living room which is certainly no less interesting.

In the foyer area, guests are shown a beautiful view of the garden and fish pond outside the building. Two chairs leaning against the wall are very comfortable to sit back and relax. This room with glass doors and a terrace with wooden surroundings allows visitors or residents to breathe in the fresh air from the garden. Of course, this room can also be used as a reading or relaxing space.

The living room is no less magnificent and attractive. This spacious room is surrounded by a water pool, so to get into the room, visitors or homeowners need to pass through the road on one side of the room. This spacious room is of course also quite bright due to the glass window on the front side and also the void on the upper floor. Not only chairs and tables, various ornamental plants can also be placed in this area to give a fresh impression to the room.

There is also a restroom for visitors and a guest bedroom with an en suite bathroom. Of course, with this space, guests such as relatives or friends can stay at home.

Then on the back side of the house, there is a family room, dining room, and kitchen in one row. The living room is equipped with a television and a sofa that is perfect for intimate gatherings. Right behind and next to the area, there are circulation stairs to the lower and upper floors of the residence. The white walls, combined with the gray sofa, make the room feel spacious.

Then the dining area, which is equipped with an elongated wooden table and matching chairs, showcases the modern and minimalist style of the room. Right next to the dining area, a clean and stunning kitchen can be used by the residents of this house. The garden at the back of the house can be accessed from the sliding glass door in this room. Certainly adds freshness when eating breakfast or dinner.

The kitchen located on the second floor is arguably not too big. This is because on the lower floor, the service area also has a large enough kitchen where the household assistants prepare the owner's meal. Of course, the kitchen on the second floor is an area used by the owner or his friends when gathering together. The kitchen lights are no less interesting. The chandelier is covered with a modern design and beautifully arranged so that it stands out in the room.

The third floor is specially designed for the owner's family only. Two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms are designed with single beds. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub area, making it more relaxing and able to relieve fatigue after a long day's work. The walk-in-closet area is also large in the master bedroom.

White walls and doors adorn the third floor. This makes the space on this floor feel clean and spacious. Not to forget the combination of gray floors, and ceilings with wooden bars displaying distinctiveness so that the room does not feel monotonous. The light coming in from the glass roof spreads from the third floor to the floor below due to the void design in the room. Beautiful and natural.
