Selasar Sunaryo Cafe captures attention through its unique material patterns.
Selasar Sunaryo is one of the cafes located in Dago, Bandung. The café boasts a relatively large building and land area for a café. The spacious dimensions of the café's building and land are partly due to the fact that some of the land is used for exhibition buildings and is separated into two different entrances. Curious about how the café's design manages to attract every visitor? Let's take a closer look at the design elements found in Selasar Sunaryo.

Entering the entrance area towards 'Kopi Selasar,' you will be greeted by various types of landscapes and materials that exude a natural charm. The entrance to Kopi Selasar uses pressed stone and natural stone as a wall plinth along the front ticket booth to the green bridge that crosses the large koi pond. After a series of the use of natural stone for pedestrian access, textured cement plaster walls provide a natural, simple, and low-maintenance impression.

As you enter the café area, you will encounter the cashier's bar counter, service area, and the beautiful Viola tree that stretches to cover all the furniture below. The furniture includes long tables and chairs equipped with electrical outlets. The Viola tree can also be used to provide shade for the residence's yard or simply as an interior decoration when the tree is still young.

Moving on to the coffee-drinking area, your gaze will be directed towards the circular performance area below, with interspersed descending stair traps leading to the performance area. An interesting feature is the stair traps that combine softscape in the form of Japanese grass and hardscape in the form of cement plaster and natural stone.

For visitors who want to explore Selasar Sunaryo in the lowest area, there are several spots, including a souvenir shop, toilets, and a joglo. However, before heading to these three areas, you will be treated to a neatly arranged and moss-covered brick path for visitors. Besides being used as a flooring material, these red bricks are used as fences and boundaries for decorative peanut landscape plants, adding a cool and refreshing touch to the surroundings.

The last views include souvenir kiosks and various Selasar Sunaryo landscape spots. The souvenir kiosk is quite eye-catching due to its simple and unique design. The kiosk is square-shaped with full red brick walls from the floor to the ring beam, as well as wooden frames and large windows that create a unique and Instagram-worthy impression. The landscape area is also adorned with low and medium-sized shrubs. Besides decorating and completing the café's surroundings, these shrubs provide a strong tropical atmosphere.
That concludes our review of Selasar Sunaryo for those who want to enjoy the charming atmosphere of this semi-outdoor café.
