The renovated house in Ghent, Belgium, is quite intriguing. The house itself is 180 square meters in size. Its front facade resembles various houses in the neighborhood. The two-story house renovated by Fragmenture has only one level at the front.

This elongated house faces a major road at the front. The front of the house with two sides is adorned with brick material. It looks similar to the buildings on its right and left, albeit with a darker color.

Due to the house being sandwiched between other buildings, it would be challenging to bring in natural light. Openings can only be made at the front and rear. In this renovation, all partition walls were removed and rearranged to better suit the occupants' needs.

Upon entering the house, visitors pass through a corridor. From this corridor, right by the entrance, there is a spacious and well-lit living room. The glass windows span the entire length of one wall. The floor is raised, creating a defined space within the house. The floor and ceiling are made of parquet wood, giving the room a warm feel. The design of the minimalistic partition shelves adds a modern touch. The space feels open and bright thanks to its white color.

The first floor, used for everyday activities, has a unique layout. The furniture, which also serves as a partition, has a triangular shape and is positioned in the middle of the house. In this triangular area, there are stairs leading upstairs and storage space.

The sloping line is used as the kitchen area. The kitchen equipment and furniture are divided between the triangular wall and the kitchen table. There is also a bar table on the kitchen table. The wet kitchen is also located here.

The spacious area with light from the backyard is used as a dining area. The dining area benefits from the refreshing and expansive view of the backyard.

Following the triangular theme, a triangular-shaped green space is created in the garden. The storage space at the back of the house is removed and replaced with large sliding glass windows. Both light and air can freely enter the house, preventing it from feeling stuffy as it did before.

On the upper floor of the house, there are bedrooms and bathrooms. The bathroom can be accessed from outside or from the bedroom. The toilet within the bathroom has its enclosed space for comfortable use by guests.

To access the bathroom from the bedroom, occupants can go through the dressing room, connected by a sliding door. The clothing closet and sink area are located near the wall with large glass windows, creating a bright atmosphere.

The use of wood as the main material throughout the house creates a warm ambiance. The combination of furniture and white walls gives a clean and elegant impression to the house's interior.
