Stephen Turner, an artist and owner of an egg-shaped building made of wood, named the "Exbury Egg." This building serves as a studio and an experimental space for the artist to interpret a home. The floating structure was initially created for an installation but has transformed into a home for Turner.

The small-space structure displays a very smooth wood finish, both on the exterior and interior. Despite its small size, the facilities inside are complete and functional. Its location near the lake provides inspiration when waking up in this place. For an artist, nature is incredibly soothing.

In this unique building, there is a door in the middle. To exit this egg capsule, it needs to be docked to a portable dock built near it.

The egg capsule is not always at the lake's edge near the dock but can also float in an open area with the help of tie-down ropes attached to the outside of the building. These ropes make the structure more secure, preventing it from being carried away by the water's current. Its attractive and ergonomic shape is very attention-grabbing.

The wooden panels on its outer shell are designed with various patterns. These patterns naturally form because the wooden panels have to conform to its curved framework. This not only adds to its aesthetics but also gives a unique aesthetic value to this capsule.

The interior of the capsule is equipped with a sleeping area, a workspace, a kitchen, and a bathroom partitioned off. The bedroom area is at the pointed end of the egg capsule. There's a bed and an elevated floor to delineate the space. The workspace area is illuminated by light coming in through the door and the windows in the roof.

In the center, there is a hammock that can be put up and taken down at any time for relaxation. This hammock can also be used for sleeping while gazing at the starry sky through the glass window in the roof. When the hammock is not in use, the kitchen area can be used to prepare delicious meals.

On the other side of the egg capsule, there is a bathroom that can be used for personal hygiene, including showering. The flooring is made of a material other than wood, safe for water exposure. The space next to the bathroom functions as storage or a closet where the inhabitant can store their clothes and various other items.

Due to these various facilities, the egg capsule can be utilized as a residence by Stephen Turner. Besides its egg shape and the patterns on the wooden panels, the exposed framework on the inside of the dwelling gives a unique and sturdy impression.
